chicken tractor large

this is my homemade chicken tractor. It is raining so the audio is weak. I will be putting nesting boxes on it soon. It is 12′x 5 1/2. enjoy. please leave comments good or bad, Ilove them all. Please rate. By the way I didnt realize how much of a Maine accent I had until I heard this. Check out my ice fishing shack at 2:06. It has a polycarbonate roof and vinyl siding. at 20 degrees on a sunny day it stays about 50 degrees without the wood stove lit

Nice concept, though the audio really sucks! I guess you’re trying to live up to your older brother’s higher standards. You’re such a SHEEPLE!
Keep trying little brother… SEE THE GOOD IN ALL AND THE BEAUTY WITHIN!
    lol

  2. Awesome !!
    Thats a nice tractor.
You were smart to buy the big water jug.
I got the little one first… then the big one!
    Haha……….Peace!!!!!

  3. great job love the accent im from Texas so you can imagine how i sound!lol 5 stars one of the best chicken tractor videos Ive seen!im about to make two 1 for eating birds and 1 for laying hens!!

  4. thanks alot , it now has nesting boxes on the sides of it. I have 13 birds and they have more than enough room. I looked for a design I liked and just scaled it up. It is light enough so my wife can move it. Next spring Im getting meat birds as well. I now have two guineies in there as well. They will be thanksgiving .

  5. when I was in the service one of my best friends was from the lone star state. Texas independence is an admirable quality.

  6. well thank you you are from the east coast? what kind of birds do you have, and what do you suggest for laying and eating?

  7. where did you get those things you slide the wheels in?im just now getting around to building mine and i cant find those damn things anywhere…do you know what there called or what there used for???thanks again

  8. the tubes are a piece of square stock steel tube I got at the local hardware store.I used conduit straps to secure them to the wood frame. the axels are round tube that I welded a threaded rod into the round stock slides in the square stock perfectly. This is all inexpensive home depot stuff. The most expensive thing on here is the hinges and latches and gatehooks, I spent about 35$ on the hardware. This can be built for 150$ or much less depending on what you have laying around.

  9. mine is 12′ x 6′ not quite as tall as yours. I have about 300$in mine i bought some fence parts for the axle to slide in but its not strong enough and used 1/2 bolts for axles that are too weak also i have to rethink that but other than that im happy with it thaks for your info!!

  10. good concept,about the best I’ve seen
