Putting up fence for outer chicken pen. The inner pen is covered with chicken wire, top and all sides to protect from predators. The chicken house floor is 12 inches above the ground because of the varmits that will dig from the bottom up into the chicken house to devour the birds.
How many? chickens do you have?
@paperweightgirl ….2 red chickens, 3 yellow chickens and 6 black&white chickens. They all lay? brown eggs, but not very many eggs.
I’ll bet yourhens’ eggs are delicious and far better than anything I can buy in the shops! ? Do you cook bacon with eggs?
@basquill1 Home farm eggs are so much better. Next month my new chickens will start laying…may get a dozen a day. Right now buying from town. Yes, I love bacon and? eggs. Favorite is eggs and bacon on a buttered baking powder biscuit. Yum
